     Comme une fois tous les deux ans, je tombe sur un morceau de Spliknot (celui-ci cette fois), et ça me fait sourire: Je les connaissais de nom depuis le début du lycée on va dire (via des journaux spécialisés ou sur les pulls d'étudiants), et vu leur dégaine, j'ai toujours cru qu'ils chantaient des trucs hyper violents, avec des voix torturées, de la batterie à en faire exploser les tympans... et je redécouvre à chaque fois que c'est en faite soft par rapport à ce que je peux écouter!
    Tous ça pour vous dire que j'avais envie de vous partager un peu de musique.

     EN// Like once every two years, I came across a piece of Spliknot (this one this time), and it makes me smile: I knew them by name since the beginning of high school approx. (via specialized newspapers or thanks to student's sweaters), and because of their outfits, I always thought they'd sing supra violent stuff, with tortured voice and some explosive battery... and I rediscover each time it is finalt quite soft compared to what I can listen!
     ...To tell you I wanted to share some music with you.

Depeche Mode - One caress
    On va commencer par ces chansons découvertes via American Horor Story. Je connais relativement peu Depeche Mode hormis quelques chansons connues que j'aime profondément. Mais je trouve celle-ci particulièrement sublime: la musique (violon, violoncelle) et la profondeur de la voix me touche. Tips: ne pas écouter les paroles si on est déprimé! Si vous avez des chansons du genre, je suis preneuse =)
    Let's start with these songs discoveried via American Horror Story. I know relatively little about Depeche Mode, except for a few famous songs I love deeply. But I think this music particularly wonderful (violin, cello) and the depth of his voice touches me. Tips: do not listen to the lyrics if you're depressed! If you have similar songs, I take them =)

She wants revenge - Tear you apart
L'autre est une sorte de rock gothique suave (notez ma grande connaissance des catégories musicales), qui me parle d'autant plus que je l'associe à l'ambiance de l'épisode où il apparait, car c'est là que je l'ai découvert. J'aime quand une musique met en exergue une certaine atmosphère! (Commence à 00:40.)
The other one is a kind of suave gothic rock (note my great knowledge of musical categories), who speaks to me in a perculiar way since I associate it with the mood of the episode in which he appears, because that's where I found it out. I love when music highlights a certain atmosphere! (Begins at 00:40.)

Azelia Banks - 212 ft. Lazy Jay
Pour contrebalancer tout ça, il faut de l’impertinence avec un rythme bien funky. J'adore l'air de la chanteuse dans ce clip: nonchalante, souriante, sarcastique! Ce n'est pas du tout le genre de musique que j'écoute, mais c'était d'autant plus plaisant de l'avoir dans ma playlist occasionnellement.
To balance this, I needed a bit of impertinence with a very funky rhythm. I love the impression of the singer in this video: nonchalant, smiling, sarcastic! It is not at all the kind of music I listen to, but it is especially nice to have it occasionally in my playlist.

Prodigy - Girls
Et pour rester dans la vibe, du Prodigy presque "joyeux"! Je commence à avoir fait le tour de leur discographie, et j'aime vraiment les différents styles qu'ils ont pu parcourir. Cette chanson parait cheap, retro et badass en même temps, rien a voir avec certaines de leur production!
And to stay in the flow, some almost 'happy" Prodigy! I begin to know their discography, and I really like the different styles they could go throught. This song seems cheap, badass and retro at the same time, nothing to do with some of their production!
